Frequently Asked Questions
Hygiene
Allergens and bacteria in your products
Bacterial overgrowth is the number one contamination of all
products used on the skin. Once you put your finger in lotion and
creams, bacteria from your finger starts bacterial growth on the
product!!!!! This is the main reason that our lotions are in
squeezable plastic bottles, so you do not have to put your finger
in the jar.

Can your soap be used to wash my hair?
Simplify your life with these exquisitely handmade scented soaps. You can shower, bathe, shampoo and shave with every one of our nourishing and uniquely blended cold process soaps. When used as a shaving soap - razors will glide effortlessly and eliminates the need for shaving creams or lotions.
Handmade soaps always seem to cost more than commercial soaps. Can I really afford them?
Most people have found that after using quality handmade soap, their skin is softer and smoother than before. So although the handmade soaps are a bit more expensive than commercially made soaps, the cost tends to be about the same when you add in other body moisturizers.
The bars of soap I bought from you seem to have shrunk. Why is that?
Don't be alarmed to find that as time goes on your handmade soap gets smaller and harder. As the moisture evaporates out of your bar of soap, the bar naturally gets smaller and harder. In fact, the harder the soap, the longer it lasts when showering. Just like fine wine, handmade soap gets better with age.
Why is it so important to have glycerin in soap?
It attracts and holds moisture to your skin.
My skin is very sensitive; can I use your soap safely?
Yes, my soap is especially kind to sensitive skin. The oils and butters I use to make soap( using the cold process) method makes a very gentle bar of soap.
Do you use goat's milk in your soap?
We do make several soaps with goat's milk. However, we do add extra luxurious oils and silk proteins in all our soaps and with those additions it is even better and creamier than with the little bit of milk fat that goes into the soap.
I'm concerned about germs. Are your soaps antibacterial?
Yes all soap is antibacterial to a point. Honey is one of the ingredients that are naturally antibacterial without using chemicals.
Does soap spoil?
No, it does not spoil. but, they will become smaller, as all the moisture has evaporated out of them, they can get hard as rocks, but they still have scent and would be perfectly good to use
