Natural Soaps & Bars
If you have never used natural handmade bars,
you are in for a super treat. It's For Me natural handmade bars are purely
the way to pamper your skin. Natural herbal bars are formulated using the cold
process method and retains natural glycerin (glycerin helps
maintain the natural moisture in our skin). Most commercially
produced soaps withdraw the glycerin, to sell later for a higher
profit.
Try natural handmade bars once
and you will see for yourself the difference in your skin. Nothing
beats natural. (You cannot beat MOTHER NATURE).

Glycerin
The glycerin in our soaps is made naturally, through a procedure known as "cold process." Cold processing is a term used by soap makers to make quality, handmade natural soaps. During the saponification process, the pure oils, fats, and butters are heated to a melting temperature and no higher. This procedure helps produce a natural glycerin. In commercial soaps, this "glycerin" is extracted and used to produce commercial lotions, but in natural homemade soaps, it is left in-thus producing the richest, moistest soap you can find!
To enjoy the greatest benefit from our natural handmade soaps, we suggest that you stay away from products that contain comedojenic oil; which clogs pores. Products such as petroleum or mineral oils stop your skin from absorbing moisture because they seal your pores shut. In other words, because of the soft, silky feeling these products leave the surface of your skin feeling, you are "tricked" into believing your skin is actually softer, smoother, and moister-when in fact, your skin is not.
You should also stay away from any lotion or moisturizing product that contains Propylene Glycol. Propylene Glycol is anti-freeze. It gives the products "slip" to go on smoothly, but the downside is it causes your skin to dry out.
If you have mild to extremely dry skin you should stay away from anti-bacterial or deodorant soaps, which can dry your skin even more!
